NoteLace is a Markdown note-taking app for Mac, Windows, and Linux. Your notes live on your machine and sync to your own space only when you turn it on. It’s grown a proper toolkit — notebooks, tags, wiki-links with backlinks, database views (table, board, calendar), version history, optional end-to-end encryption, a web clipper, and an MCP server so tools like Claude can read and write your vault. It’s the one app of mine that’s actually out: shipping now, €5/month, updated most weeks.
